About Our Organization
Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation (located at Sioux Gateway Airport- BG Bud Day Field) was founded in 1990 and continues to be focused on air and ground transportation history with special emphasis on the development of both modes of transportation in the Siouxland area and world-wide. Education of local citizens, students grade school through college and visitors from around the world is our primary goal.
This year, the Mid America Museum of Aviation and Transportation would like to collect donations for sponsorship of our 727 STEM Camps which have included Jr. Pilot and Tennis Shoes on the Tarmac programs. For every $300, we will sponsor a child to attend one of our future programs. Our goal this year is to be able to sponsor ten children. We appreciate any amount given to promote the education and preservation of Siouxland's history of aviation and transportation.
